FREE Shoreline Garden Tour
Saturday, June 26, 9a – Noon

Buffer gardens, rain gardens and other shoreline practices will be shown. Our garden tour will feature six gardens along the shores of Fox Lake and Beaver Dam Lake.

Join us at the Fox Lake Town Park, Blackhawk Drive, Fox Lake at 9 am. The self-led driving tour will begin after a brief presentation / tour and will take place rain or shine.

Learn how simple shoreline landscaping practices can improve your home, our lakes, and our waterways.  Healthy shorelines are critical for water quality, shore stabilization and fish and wildlife habitat.

RSVPs are requested so we are able to plan routes accordingly.

Friends of the Lake Outing

The Fox Lake Preservation Organization invites special needs adults and chaperones to be their guests at Town Park, Blackhawk Trail, for pontoon boat tours on Fox Lake. Snacks and beverages are provided. After several hours of touring the lake, the guests return to shore for a cook- out lunch. Held for 27 years, traditionally on the third Saturday in June, the Friends of the Lake Outing has become the popular social event for our friends from ARC of Dodge County and Bethesda Lutheran Home in Fox Lake. It takes many volunteers, pontoon boat captains and “first mates”, cooks, servers and dockside attendants to make the outing a memorable experience for the guests.
